Our Service

Invariably we are asked the same question when approached by new clients –
Is what I am looking to do viable?

In order to answer this question we have implemented a four step system that allows us to identify at an early stage whether a project is worth continuing or not. This keeps our clients costs to a minimum and highlights where more homework should be undertaken before proceeding to manufacture.

1. Initial Feasibility Study

In order to provide clients with a solution tailored to their specific
needs, we undertake a feasibility study for the entire project.
This focuses on:

· Initial planning

· Timing analysis

· Quotation

· Implementation

2. In-Depth Review

If the initial feasibility study yields positive results such that proceeding further is warranted, we then undertake an in-depth investigation that includes reviewing the following:

· Product manufacturability
· Documentation status
· Bills of Material
· Testability – incorporating PCB jigs and fixtures
· Unique parts or materials
· Environmentally fit for purpose – RoHS and WEEE
· Test documentation
· Heat soak and application loads – security, bank key loading
· Specialised test equipment
· Packaging requirements
· Shipping requirements and pallets
· Component and test equipment
· Factory and product / component risk management
· Current / existing production tooling
· Suitability of moving Australian tooling offshore
· Dual sourcing – alternate sourcing

· Manufactured cost targets
